Manifesting Presence of the Holy Spirit

Proverbs 2:1-13 

My son, if you receive my word and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path; for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; discretion will watch over you, understanding will guard you, delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech, who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness…

All Kingdom truth comes from One Source, the Holy Spirit of God… not from our mind, nor from our ability to figure things out, nor by our intelligence to conclude. In as much as we choose humility and dependence, then from that position search out knowledge, understanding and wisdom as one searches for priceless things, only then can we see. 

Our intelligence is truly a gift of God! But where the Kingdom of God is concerned, our intelligence must first be harnessed, thence the reins of control to be willfully joyfully given into the hands of the Father. Then our intelligence can be used… For how quickly our intelligence, when yoked to self, concludes Kingdom issues in error. Such is the way of all religion. Man’s ideas, man’s conclusions, man’s suppositions. Man’s way. The Holy Spirit gets put into a box and pushed aside.

On last count there were over 45,000 different Christian denominations in this world. 45,000 plus different variations of ONE GOSPEL MESSAGE! Why? Man’s thinking has superseded God’s revelation. The Church has become all but devoid of the Supplier of Truth… the Holy Spirit! 

But when the Holy Spirit shows up in power in times of Revival, above all other things, even above repentance and the clearing out of bars and dens of evil, is the sudden oncoming of revelation knowledge, and understanding! People suddenly start to think alike! Unity ensues! People come running to where the truth is! Everything else of Kingdom value follows Knowledge, Understanding and Wisdom! It’s why right understanding is so very important!

John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

John 16:13

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into ALL the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

Knowledge, Understanding and then Wisdom are REVEALED. They are GIVEN. They are the fruits of our humility and dependent searchings. They enter in to our spirit man inner self, to become usable by our outer self soul, the mind. Only then, in that state of humility and total dependence, we enter in to God’s truths. 

Proverbs 11:2

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble comes wisdom.

James 4:6

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

2 Timothy 4:3-4

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

Romans 10:2-4

For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Without a doubt, the greatest difficulties over all that I have witnessed in many years of church business have been divisions born of the pride of conclusions made outside of given revelation understanding of the Holy Spirit. The inability to hear of anything else but what has already been concluded. An inability and unwillingness to change. Above all other reasons, this is why the Church desperately needs Revival. 

Kingdom Wisdom Knowledge and Understanding are from God alone. And He has made it our joy to search them out. Yet without the humility to be dependent upon His revelations, nor a zeal to search these things out, we are certain to be in error. 

Lastly, I imagine those who dig for precious gold, they mine where the gold is! Today, we who seek the truths of the Kingdom of God, we go to the goldmine, the Word of God. But we don’t stop there, we seek the Holy Spirits’ revelations that follow our hungry hearts! It truly is the Word of God, thence the REVELATION GIVEN by the Holy Spirit into a humble dependent heart. This is our process of searching! 

We say, “Come Holy Spirit! Not as we will, but as You desire!”
